Found this little critter while I was doing laundry. Tiny baby, really. It's funny how my first insect macro of the year tends to be a jumping spider. I used this opportunity to grab my new used 550ex, since it supposedly can act as a slave to the ring light I use for these photos. I have no clue if I was doing it right or if it was even worth it (see those highlights in its eyes? #throwbackthursday to 10 years ago! I was still living in California and managed to find a week to come home on vacation... And found myself in the (now defunct) Dinosaur Walk in Riverhead.
