These little buggers are eating my entire parsnip crop 🌾 it's OK though, because I have more parsnips than caterpillars and these chubby guys are pretty cute. They are the eastern swallowtail, also known as the parsnip swallowtail because that's one of their favorites as caterpillars. I started out with about six or seven of them in one area, but I think some have already cocooned themselves.
