I planted marigolds late in the season, hoping to save my basil from being eaten by grasshoppers. They have completely taken over my garden! In between all the yellow and orange flowers is hidden two types of basil, two varieties of thyme, one plant of oregano, and six pepper plants (golden cayenne and poblanos, not including the ones seen in the containers on the side).
